>ETHNICS AND CULTURES DEVELOPMENT

The ancient cultures of Peru were developed in the Andes and the Coast and reached certain high level of knowledge to cultivate the land, architectural buildings, astronomy, society organization religious and art, as you can see in ancient cultures like Chavin, Moche and in Cusco. The cultures developed in the Jungle were not so advanced , although in some of andean cultures there is a clear influence from the Jungle (cultura selvática) like in Chavin de Huantar where the Jaguar- God is a clear reference. However, from a mystical point of view both are importants and have incredible beliefs, which for many people worldwide are part of an amazing spirituality of a population. Ancient cultures used many brevages to connect wth Gods as well to guess the future : Coca ceremonies; Ayahuasca rituals are an example.The Jungle population gather currently 56 different kind of ethnics. The Andes developed in the past many ethnics which were extinguished or dominated by others.The last one: the Incas, was the most important , before the Spanish conquest.
